IDM Technologies Group is moving its headquarters from the Seattle area to Phoenix and plans to create up to 150 high-wage jobs here within two years.

The company is developing software that tracks lab specimens such as blood samples as they are transported from hospitals to laboratories, to prevent them from being misplaced.

“We’re in several hospitals and big labs around the country, and in 2012 we’re launching the whole thing nationwide,” said CEO Peter Allison, who founded IDM four years ago.
