Seattle’s IDM Technologies Group moving to the Valley, creating 150 ‘white lab coat’ jobs
IDM Technologies Group is moving its headquarters from the Seattle area to Phoenix and plans to create up to 150 high-wage jobs here within two years. The company is developing software that tracks lab specimens such as blood samples as they are transported from hospitals to laboratories, to prevent them from being misplaced.

A Washington company that makes tracking devices for medical specimens is moving its headquarters from the Seattle area to metro Phoenix. IDM Technologies Group plans to start with about 15 management positions when it moves in the first quarter of 2012 and to expand to about 45 jobs by the end of 2012 and about 150 within two years, said Peter Allison, founder and CEO.

Medical technology company considers Chandler for new site
A company which manufactures devices that track medical specimens will move its headquarters to the Valley, and Chandler is one of the cities being considered. IDM Technologies Group will move from the Seattle area in the first quarter of 2012 and is now scouting the Valley for corporate offices and a distribution facility. Chandler and Scottsdale locations are being evaluated now. The company says it expects to employ 45 people in the Valley by the end of 2014.
